Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy was born in Miami Florida on 16 April 1996. Dennis Alan Taylor is a retired banker, and Jennifer Marina Joy is a psychology. Her father is an Argentine who is of Scottish as well as English descent. Her mother's heritage is Spanish as well as English. Taylor-Joy is the youngest of five children. Four are from Taylor's father's prior marriage. After living within Buenos Aires for six years, the family relocated to Victoria. Taylor Joy says that moving to England was very traumatic. She refused to learn English and hoped she could relocate back to Argentina. Hill House, a school within the same district as Northlands was required to take her. Then she attended Queen's Gate School where she trained in ballet and appeared in school productions. When she was 16, she quit school in order to explore acting as a profession. Taylor-Joy's desire to be an actor started at a young, age. Sarah Doukas of Storm Management was the first one who hired her to be a professional model.
