Her parents are Harvey Welker who is Native American and Julie Welker who is African-American. She has a Native American father and an African-American mom. Her graduation from Germantown Friends School, located in Philadelphia's Germantown neighborhood in 1994. In 1998, she earned an undergraduate diploma at Harvard College. Welker as well as John Hughes, a famous marketing director at Merck Philadelphia who is married to two kids with him. They began being involved in an affair. John, John's husband is 4 years older.
