Sheryl Underwood, an American television host, comedian and actress best known for hosting the popular daily talk show The Talk. Born in Arkansas She was raised within Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl comes from a troubled family. Sheryl was raised by her sister Frankie. Frankie had suffered with the disease of Polio. When she was growing up, Sheryl was plagued by problems with her mom. Sheryl states that her mother was once brutally stabbed by her father because he was too close. Sheryl joined up the military shortly after graduating from college. Her passion for the military was comedy. She was the sole female who made it to the 1989 contest Miller Lite Comedy Search. Her TV career as regularly performing at the HBO Comedy Show Def Comedy Jam in 1992. In 2000, she was host of the television talk show Oh Drama! Presently, she is a co-host on Talk Talk since the year 2011. She's appeared in fictitious series including Bulworth Nikki, Beauty Shop and others.
