Lucy-Liu

Lucy Liu (born Lucy Liu) is an American voice actor as well as a director producer and singer. She is a beautiful and knowledgeable actor, she is an inspiration to numerous Asian actors who wish to make it big in Hollywood. After a series of initial appearances on popular TV shows, her fame was boosted by joining the crew of the cult comedy series Ally McBeal where she played the villainous Ling Woo. She translated her newfound fame into roles that were filmed on the large screen with Shanghai Noon, Charlie's Angels and other films. After that, she delivered an excellent performance in Quentin Tarantino Kill Bill Volume 1 as Japanese criminal O Ren Ishii. In the meanwhile, she also played lead roles in some box office failures such as Rise: Blood Hunter. In the following years, she started to voice prominent characters in animated films such including Kung Fu Panda and Tinker Bell. Mia Mason from Cashmere Mafia was a minor role that didn't have any impact. The role she played in the critically acclaimed police drama series Southland has helped her regain recognition as a prominent actress. Liu picks her roles wisely to ensure she is not a victim of such a competitive field. Though she's extremely proud of her culture however, she is not letting that limit her creativity.
