Harry Edward Styles, known as Harry Styles in the world of pop music. as Harry Styles, is a British composer and performer who is regarded as being a part of the group One Direction. The child of Des Styles (father) and Anne Cox, Harry Styles was born on January 1, 1994, in Holmes Chapel. Harry Styles studied at the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School, in which he started his own musical band with three classmates, which he called White Eskimo. Following their victory in the Battle of Bands 2009 thanks to a stellar performance, the band also took part in 2010. Even though he had always expressed an interest in the music world however, despite his love for it he wanted also to pursue a career as a lawyer and an physiotherapist. He was employed in a local bakery part-time to support his family financially. Harry Styles was selected for The X Factor 2010 audition in which he performed Stevie Wonder's song Is not She Lovely. For that reason his band were forced to split. Nicole Scherzinger was the judge who suggested Harry Styles to be part of a new group named One Direction, along with Liam Payne Zayn malik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell was the sponsor of the group that began in the year the year 2010. They performed tracks such as My Life Would Suffer Without You from Kelly Clarkson, and Total Eclipse of the Heart, by Bonnie Tyler during the competition. They were one of the contenders for the prize. However, they came in third in front of Rebecca Ferguson. Harry Styles did not receive a prize, however Cowell offered a 2-million-pound deal to One Direction in order for the group to join Syco Records.
