Andrea Elson

Andrea Hope Elson, an American actress and model who was a former actor who has since retired. Elson started her career as an actor in her early years and as model. The actress is most famous for her role as Alice Tyler in the CBS Science-fiction television series. Andrea won the role of Lynn Tanner, in ALF (1986) following an audition. The actress worked for several popular TV shows, including Movies of the Day before taking a decision to end her career and concentrate to her family. Andrea Elson was playing Lynn Tanner as the teenager daughter Kate and Willie during a time that she was going through a turbulent period. People's 2000 retrospective on Elson revealed that it was hard to make progress as a female in front of a sitcom audience. Elson, who was green eyed New York City native grew in her travels due to the advertising job her father held. At 10 years old, Andrea had already been to New York Chicago San Diego Los Angeles. While in San Diego Andrea got an agent, and was able to get the part she auditioned for. Fusco explained that ALF was a tycoon aged 285 and was able to drink beer. NBC advised Fusco to prevent ALF from drinking in the presence of children as it would be a bad model. Fusco was of the opinion that ALF was mature enough to drink and drive, wasn't right. The diagnosis of his lymphoma first came in the year 1995. He underwent successful treatment and was in complete remission until the year 2019. The disease was fatal on 26 June 2019, when he had been 75 years old at the Lillian Booth Actors Home, Englewood NJ.
