Anna Silk was born at St. Thomas University in Fredericton in New Brunswick, Canada. She is the daughter Peter Silk - an academic and Ilkay Silk, an accomplished actress who is also a director, writer and producer. Anna Silk is child of a Briton, and a Turkish Cypriot English ex-pat. In her early years Anna was a part of a variety of commercials on television. Anna moved from Toronto to Los Angeles in 1999. Seth Cooperman was introduced to Anna in Los Angeles at an acting training workshop held in 2007. They got engaged in 2009. Anna, who had converted to Judaism in the year before and Seth Cooperman got married in December 2010 in Fredericton. In April 2011, they renewed their wedding vows by having a Jewish ceremony.
